Millions of Monicas

A prayer ministry of Catholic mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, confirmation sponsors, and aunts — lifting our children to the Lord through the intercession of St. Monica.

Who We Are

A prayer ministry, not a support group. Rooted in the Catholic faith and the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Focused on the joyful return of our children to full unity with the Church. Gatherings are simple and prayerful — we do not share personal situations or details about the individuals we are praying for. Free (no cost) to participants, parishes, and leaders.

How We Gather

In churches or adoration chapels where the Blessed Sacrament is present. About one hour, usually weekly (some meet bi-weekly or monthly). Approved by the parish priest, yet facilitated by mothers/co-leaders — the priest’s presence isn’t required.

What We Provide

A complete binder with the prayer service — no need to create your own. Branded, ready-to-print marketing materials like flyers and posters to invite others. A resource page with videos, articles, and documents to guide and inspire. A National Leadership Team that walks alongside you, offering ongoing guidance and support and updated materials.

A Growing Movement

From our first gathering in June 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Grand Rapids, Michigan, there are now over 140 communities worldwide praying together. Available in English and Spanish
